	The barge has been extensively refurbished over the past year and is ready to go to work. This barge has an extensive history working in salvage and the oil industry in the Gulf. This barge is equipped with a 4-point anchoring system, two spuds and has crew accommodations for 26. The Derrick has recently been certified to 300 tons and have added a twin drive hydraulic thruster unit that provides approx 400 HP in thrust to allow the operator in the control tower to remotely control the maneuvering of the barge in close quarters or shallow water. The Derrick also comes equipped with a 24 Ft twin engine utility boat called that is on a raised cradle and can be deployed with the hydraulic crane on deck. This utility boat can be used to support the Derrick Barge Operations and can also be used to shuttle crews to shore or between operations. . This Derrick Barge is a workhorse for platform salvage, plug and abandonment projects, pipeline removal, vessel salvage and wreck removal.
