Tug Boats - What are they?

These vessels, typically of standard design, offer complete flexibility in all offshore towing markets for any size project, in virtually any location. They can be used offshore for deepwater applications, as well as inland on large lakes and waterways. Our tugs are designed to perform conventional towing and anchor handling functions within a wide range of offshore applications, including rig towage and construction support. Additionally, our tugboats can be employed in coastal and ocean commercial towage of both containerized and bulk cargoes. From towing the largest semi-submersible drilling rigs to handling anchors for the largest construction and pipe-laying barges, our tugboats have a wide variety of applications, which is important in the diverse marine industry.
